Getting Started

Get up and running with OpsPilot365 in minutes. This guide will walk you through the initial setup process.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

  • A Microsoft 365 account with Global Administrator or Partner Admin privileges
  • Access to at least one Microsoft 365 tenant you want to manage
  • A modern web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari)

Step 1: Sign Up

  1. Visit app.opspilot365.com 
  2. Click “Get Started” or “Sign Up”
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account
  4. Grant the required permissions when prompted

OpsPilot365 uses Microsoft’s secure OAuth 2.0 authentication. We never store your password.

Step 2: Connect Your First Tenant

After signing in, you’ll be guided to connect your first Microsoft 365 tenant:

  1. Click “Add Tenant” in the dashboard
  2. Enter your tenant domain (e.g., contoso.onmicrosoft.com)
  3. Authenticate as a Global Administrator for that tenant
  4. Review and accept the required permissions

Partner Tenants: If you’re an MSP with a Partner Center account, you can connect multiple client tenants using delegated admin privileges.

Step 3: Explore the Dashboard

Once connected, you’ll see your tenant data populate in the dashboard:

  • Overview - Quick stats and health indicators
  • Users - All users across your tenant
  • Licenses - License assignments and availability
  • Groups - Security and distribution groups

Step 4: Configure Your First Module
